The 1984 Corvette Specifications
The 4th Generation (C4) 1984 model (actually introduced in March 1983) was all new except for the driveline. The new body, interior, chassis, 4+3 manual transmission, disc brakes, etc, earned the new 4th generation Corvette high praise from automotive journalists worldwide. The 1984 Corvette was the first to use plastic leaf springs, both front and rear.
